Postcards from My Backyard
December 1st, 2007
I really enjoy spending time around the house and in the yard. One of the biggest reasons I moved to the Northeast was because of the full-on change of seasons effect. Each season is so markedly different from the next. Each with its own delights and nuances. So many photographic opportunities await and the scenery is always changing.
With the 1.3 update for Lightroom came the welcome integration of Airtight’s AutoViewer, PostcardViewer, and SimpleViewer galleries. So, here are some postcards from my own backyard across the changing seasons.
Rob Sylvan is a photographer, trainer, author, and web developer. Aside from also being a NAPP Help Desk Specialist and the host of Peachpit’s Lightroom Resource Center, he is the Site Director for iStockphoto. Rob writes the "Under the Loupe" column for Photoshop User Magazine and is the author of Lightroom for Dummies (still under development).

Love the backyard photos. What a great reminder to take a few minutes and appreciate the smaller things that often go unnoticed. Now I’m even more excited about learning to use my new Rebel now!
