In honor of getting to meet +Tamara Pruessner in a hangout at the G+ Conference I offer my first #floralfriday submission. :)

This was a shot I did after learning a tip from Bryan Peterson about capturing sun shower shots. The trick is to use your garden sprinkler. :) I waited until late afternoon when the sun was lower and in this case backlighting the cone flowers. I think the water drops add a little bit more life to the shot.

  1. +Rob Sylvan! I am so glad you decided to join in the fun today! 😉

I LOVE this! It is so dreamy and all of the water drops make it seem like another world – like a fairy's world!

Rob that is awesome. We where watering the lawn the other day we flood water with the canal. There was this bird bathing in the big puddle in the lawn and it was back lit as the sun was going down. It looked so cool and I did not have my camera. Now I have a way to fake it thanks.

The water droplets make this a very dynamic composition, +Rob Sylvan. I find my eyes wandering all over the image. And coneflowers are one of my favorite perennials. WIN!
