It will be a cool workshop in a hot location :-)

I was there last March and the weather was great. A little cool in places but got up to the mid 70's around the sand dunes. I would pack some warm clothes though. It can get cold and windy in the evenings. Should be a fantastic trip.

Thanks for the tip Jeff. What did you wear for shoes if you don't mind such a personal question? :)

I have a pair of hiking shoes from Columbia that were more than adequate for the terrain I was working in. I did a little rock scrambling so the lug soles were nice to have and the shoes were light enough that I didn't feel too bogged down while climbing the huge sand dunes. It is definitely a diverse landscape.

Thanks Jeff! I was leaning toward hiking boots, but was afraid it would be too heavy for sand.
